Our Organic Ukrainian Sea Buckthorn Oil is sourced from a family owned farm in the heart of ukraine. It is meticulously extracted from the fleshy pulp of the vibrant orange berries of Hippophae rhamnoides. These remarkable berries are renowned for being one of the richest sources of Vitamin C, Vitamin E, unsaturated fatty acids, and essential amino acids, all enhanced by their high beta-carotene content, which gives them their brilliant hue. This oil is a valuable asset in skincare, whether used directly on the skin or mixed into various products.

Sea Buckthorn Oil comes in two varieties: fruit oil and seed oil. Ours is The fruit oil, derived from the pulp, has a rich, dark red or orange color and a thicker consistency. On the other hand, Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil is lighter, with a pale yellow or orange appearance and a more fluid texture. 

The carotenoid content, which contributes to the oil's vibrant color, is significantly higher in the pulp oil, averaging 350 mg per 100 grams, compared to 67.5 mg per 100 grams in the seed oil. The concentrated beta-carotenes in the fruit oil can temporarily stain the skin; however, this effect is easily washed away.
